The hour's page is one of the most utilized and viewed pages on the UCSC library website with more than 28,000 views annually. Students rely on this page in order to orient their day and plan accordingly in order to utilize campus resources.
The design process:
Conducted user research and evaluated feedback from users and subject matter experts.
Conceptualized original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
Created wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively plan and communicate interaction and design ideas.
Identified and prioritized user needs, limitations, and existing pain points.
Presented and defended designs to peers, subject matter experts, and executive-level stakeholders.
I executed all design stages from concept to the hand-off to the developers and continued iteration to conform to system constraints.
